Movingdots implements the twin CEO approach

Appointment of Co-CEOs to lead the team in Germany

We are pleased to announce today that Donato Genovese and Andras Kelemen have been appointed co-CEOs of Movingdots, succeeding former CEO Sebastiaan Bongers. The latter is transferred to Movinx, the new joint venture launched by Swiss Re and Daimler, to transform automotive and mobility insurance business.

Donato Genovese is as of today co-CEO of Movingdots and Lead Product Development & Business Operations at Swiss Re - Automotive & Mobility Solutions in Zurich. Prior to that, he worked in Swiss Re for Group Underwriting and Group Asset Management, having joined the company in 2008 through the graduates@swissre programm. Donato holds a Master of Science in Finance from Università Bocconi, Milano, Italy.

Andras Kelemen is as of today co-CEO of Movingdots and CTO at Swiss Re - Automotive & Mobility Solutions in Zurich, having been responsible for the technical delivery of products such as Coloride, Swiss Re's app-based telematics solution. Prior to that, he held several Solution Delivery leadership positions within Swiss Re's P&C Reinsurance IT department, creating underwriting and pricing applications for Natural Catastrophes, Fire and Motor products. Andras holds a Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Computer Vision from the ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

Both experienced leaders, they have been part of the Automotive & Mobility Solutions team since its very start in 2016 and have been involved in all key processes of developing the Swiss Re products powered by Movingdots' technology. In their roles as co-CEO, they will apply their skills to accelerate the company's vision, to enable safety and innovation in mobility through cutting-edge technology. Donato Genovese focusing on operations and finance, and Andras Kelemen focusing on product and technology development, they complement each other with their qualifications and experiences.
